Liberty Professionals announce squad for the Ghana Premier League 2020-21 Second round.

The second transfer window was closed on Thursday 18th March 2021 and Liberty were among the clubs who bought more players to beef up their struggling squad.

Here are the list of registered players for the second round

Goalkeepers
Shaibu Ganiwu, Kofi Baah and Daniel Amissah

Defenders
Ahmed Satar, Michael Nii Laryea, Ernest Danso, Evans Owusu, Samuel Amofah, Paul Kwame, Razak Kwame, Razak Simpson, Maxwell Ansah and Yaya Adramani

Midfielders
George Amoako, Godfred Atuahene, Degraft Amponsah, Prosper Ahiabu, Brite Andoh, Huda Issah, Anthony Mensah, Stanley A. Ampaw, Simon Appiah Asamoah, Shady K. Dombila

Attackers
Willaim Opoku Mensah, Kwaku Karikari, George Ansong, Muntala Saeed, Kingsford Frimpong, Abraham Wayo, Adamu Amadu and Jabir Ibrahim.

This are the players registered for the club for the second of the Ghana Premier League league.

Liberty Professionals are 15th on the league log after the first round and are among the struggling teams who are battling relegation in the 2020-21 league season

Legon Cities, King Faisal, Liberty Professionals and Inter Allies are not safe on the league log and have done more recruitment to help them move from the relegation zone.

The clubs signed former Asante Kotoko striker William Opoku Mensah who joined them as a free agent after he left Asante Kotoko in the second round of the Ghana Premier. He is one of the players that have been criticised for not playing well in this years league yet Liberty have the believe that William Opoku Mensah can chafed the furtunes of the club.

Left back Evans Owusu also joined as free agent. The former Asante Kotoko player is also going to compete for a position in the team. The club believes that the experience players will also help them after using more young players in the first round.

Former WAFA midfielder Prosper Ahiabu has also signed for the club. He is going to play with George Amoako and Godfred Atuahene in the second round.

Bright Andoh has also returned to the team after travelling outside the country. The experience midfielder could be the player that can hold on the bass and keep them in games for the rest of their 17 matches.

Liberty Professionals have lost to clubs like Ebusua Dwarfs and Hearts of Oak at Dansoman Carl reindorf park and can only avoid relegation by winning more games in the second round

The club have parted ways with their head coach David Ocloo and will soon appoint a new gaffer for the second round

Right back Yaya Dramani, Striker Muntala Saeed, Razak Simpson are all players who are registered to help the club avoid relegation this season.
