MATCH REPORT: Black Queens dismantle the she Amavubi of Rwanda in Kigali


Coach Nora Hauptle continues her unbeaten run as the head coach of Ghana black queens with an impressive 7-0 away win over the She Amavubi of Rwanda in the 2024 Women African Cup of Nations round one qualifier first league in Kigali.

Ghana started the game with an attacking mindset which yelled instant results in just two minutes inside the game through former Hasaacas Ladies forward Doris Boaduwaa.

Evelyn Badu scored her first goal of the day latching on a nicely through pass from Grace Acheampong to make it 2-0 for Ghana in the 9th minute. Priscilla Adubea increased the goals for Ghana in the 28th minute to make it 3-0 at halftime.

Eight minutes inside the second half, Alice Kusi went through the shaking defense of Rwanda to make it 4-0 for Nora Hauptle’s side. Evelyn Badu then completed her brace with a neatly struck goal in the 65th minute for Ghana.
Anastasia Achiaa completed the demolition exercise for Black Queens with two late goals in the 76th and 81st minute to make is 7-0 for Ghana.

Ghana will travel back to Ghana and continue ahead of the second leg which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday September 26 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Nora Huptel has gone six consecutive games as Black Queens head coach without defeat and the side are yet to concede a goal.
