Medeama Sc name 30 man squad for the Ghana Premier league second round

The club did some signings to improve their current squad ahead of the second round

The club named three goalkeeper
Frank Boateng, Eric Ofori Antwi and Owusu Dacosta Jnr Ansah

The club registered ten Defenders

Daniel Agyin, Ibrahim Yaro, Vincent Atinga, Fatawu Sulemana, Ali issouf Oauttara, Jabila Abdul Karim, Baba Musah Abdulai, Bright Enchil, Samuel Appiah, Zana Oumar Coulibaly

Ten Midfielders were registered for the second round

Justice Blay, Agyei Boakye, Richard Boadu, Eric Kwakwa, Theophilus Anoba, Benjamin Arthur, Kwesi Donsu, Rashid Nortey, Zakaria Mumuni and Godfred Abban

Seven Attackers were registered

Abass Mohammed, Prince Opoku Agyemang, Joseph Tetteh Zutah, Amed Touré, Isaac Agyenim Boateng, Godfred Kwadwo Asamoah and Ebenezer Ackabi

Medeama SC will want to win the 2020-21 League Ghana Premier league with all the quality players they have. The club under Coach Richard Boadu were on top og the league table in the 2017-18 leagues which wax truncated due to Anas expose. In the truncated 2019-20 season Medeama Sc were on top of the league table and was truncated due to Corona virus.

The club played sixteen matches under former coach Samuel Boadu who joined Hearts of Oak ahead of week 17 Ghana Premier League matches.

New technical handlers will be in charge even though they played the last game which ended in a draw against Berekum Chelsea.

Yaw Preko who was the assistant Coach of Great Olympics joined Medeama Sc as the clubs head coach. Yaw Acheampong who was also the Head coach of Elmina Sharks joined as the clubs assistant coach.

Medeama SC are forth on the league log with 24 points and will want to win the league with the quality of players available.

The club is tagged as one of the clubs with the best midfielders. Justice Blay who played for Kotoko on loan last year, Richard Boadu who wad linked to Hearts of Oak , Rashid Nortey are all star that can be more effective in the second round

Medeama SC signed Amed Touré to come and change fortune. The former Asante Kotoko striker is more experienced to get the team back on track

Players like Abdul Jabila joined from Legon Cities, former Hearts of Oak and Vincent,Ivorian Koulibaly, Benjamin Arthur from Elmina Sharks also joined as a free agent.

Some key players who are currently not part of the registered players are Patrick Yeboah, Kalibo Toussaint.
